Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Staffing Specialist***.

Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a staffing specialist or scheduler for a recruitment agency required or in a related field to the staffing industry.

This is a FULL-TIME position (40-hours a week) requiring availability between the hours of 8AM-5:00PM, Monday through Friday, (1-hour lunch) located in Virginia Beach, VA (23451).

Responsibilities:
A Day in the life of a Staffing Specialist:
As a Staffing Specialist you will be responsible for managing client accounts and establishing healthy working relationships with clients and maintaining those relationships. On a daily basis you will be responsible for posting open job orders, recruiting qualified candidates for open jobs (on multiple job platforms), interviewing, onboarding, answering and making phone calls daily, and coordinating schedules for new employees. Must be reliable and a quick learner! Must have the ability to multi-task, to work at a fast pace, and have excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude!

Requirements for the Staffing Specialist:

• Required: 1+ years working directly as a recruiter or staffing specialist
• Required: ATS knowledge and strong general computer literacy
• Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Required: Skilled in picking up the phone to initiate contact with customers and candidates
• Required: Ability to present candidates in a professional manner through email
• Required: Ability to create and develop relationships with clients and employees
• Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
• Required: Driver's license with your own dependable transportation
• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Required: Ability to pass a criminal background check, pass a drug screen, and pass required assessments pertaining to the position
• Required: Ability to answer phone calls before, after, and over the weekend for on-call responsibilities associated with job

Preferred Qualifications for the Staffing Specialist:

• Preferred: Medical Staffing Experience
• Preferred: Experience working for a staffing company in general
• Preferred: HR experience or degree or continued educational courses

Benefits:
• $19.50 - $25.00 an hour (depending on experience level)
• Weekly Pay
• Direct Deposit Pay

• PTO accrual after 60 days
• Flex Hours available after 60 days (one full day a month and one partial day a month)
• Off Holidays (New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)
