SoLa Impact is looking for a rockstar Property Management Operations Intern to join our dynamic team and gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of property management. Duration:
  • Cohort 1 - Monday, May 26 - Thursday, August 21 (11-12 wk)
  • Cohort 2 - Monday, June 23 - Thursday, September 18 (12 wk)
Location: The Beehive, 961 E. 61st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90001
Compensation: $20-$24 per hour
Schedule: 9AM-6PM M-F, ON-SITE

What You'll Be Doing (a.k.a. Your Superpowers in Action)
  • Assist the Property Management team in coordinating daily operations across multiple properties
  • Help prepare reports, documentation, and communication materials that keep everything running smoothly
  • Participate in property inspections and assist in identifying maintenance needs
  • Assist in the leasing process-including conducting property showings and processing applications
  • Liaise with tenants, vendors, and property owners to address inquiries and concerns
  • Maintain and update key performance indicators for Property Management
  • Organize and coordinate property-related events and programs
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure effective communication and coordination across departments

Requirements

What We're Looking For (a.k.a. The Ideal Intern)
  • Currently enrolled in a Business Administration, Real Estate, or related degree program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (bonus points for property management software experience!)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A team player with a proactive approach and a great attitude
  • Passion for property management and social impact
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential property-related information with discretion

As a Property Management Intern at SoLa Impact, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in property coordination, contributing to our mission of creating affordable housing solutions in underprivileged communities.
