The Process Support Operator controls and operates equipment in which a chemical change or reaction takes place in the processing of industrial or consumer products. Typical equipment used includes: storage & blend tanks, filters, pumps, piping and batch treating equipment.
Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and daily operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, unloading raw materials, and finished goods, loading of finished goods in packages and bulk, and other activities as directed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. This includes ensuring that plant is kept clean through specific job duties. The employee also tracks materials and reports any materials needed to fill orders for production. This job includes organizing and facilitating the flow of materials or product in and out of the plant. The Process Support Operator reports to the Production Manager.
