Full-time employee - Sacramento
Salary: $105,000 - $120,000

Scope of Work:

Capio Group is looking for an experienced Performance Tester to work as part of a team to assist the client in providing services for Performance testing to various clients Benefits Systems. As a Performance Tester, you will need to identify, create and execute test scripts for changes made to the clients Benefits Systems and also assist in performance testing applications to ensure they meet agreed to Service-level Agreements (SLAs). 

As part of the team, the Performance Tester will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to:
  • Review of non-functional system requirements and volumetric analysis.
  • Performance Testing Preparation Activities (e.g., test environment set-up, script development, data setup, set-up performance monitors, etc.).
  • Execution of Performance Test Scripts, issue triage, test results analysis, etc.
  • Create and submit a status report to the project lead.
  • Facilitate and attend project Meetings.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to client staff. Knowledge transfer shall be information which will enable or enhance the ability of client staff to maintain and operate internal systems. At a minimum, knowledge transfer shall include:
    • On the job training and education, including all relevant documentation, to enable client staff to adequately maintain and operate the solutions. This may include job shadowing.
    • Written manual and/or guide of all materials associated with the tasks performed in this contract, including a transition plan. The contractor agrees that the client may reproduce such documentation for its own use to sustain project continuity.
Mandatory Experience:
  1. Within the last ten (10) years, must have five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.
  2. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience developing, maintaining, and executing performance test automation scripts for Web-based applications.
  3. Within the last ten (10) years, must have at least one (1) year of experience conducting
    performance testing management information .Net application or SaaS applications with at least 1,000,000 end users.
  4. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience analyzing non- functional and technical requirements and translating them into test requirements and volumetric analysis.
  5. Must possess a bachelor’s degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the degree must be provided upon request.
  6. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience developing, maintaining, and executing performance test automation scripts for Cloud or Software as a Service (SaaS) based applications.
  7. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience as a *power user with an On Premise test management tool for load and performance testing. (“Power user” is a user role of a software with advanced skills who is assigned in an administrative responsibilities capacity to manage user access or run usage reports).
  8. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience as a *power user with a Cloud- based or SaaS test management tool for load and performance testing.
  9. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience monitoring performance metrics using performance monitoring tools.
  10. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience utilizing database querying and scripting to mine data and prepare test data, with experience in SQL or other database technologies.
  11. Within the last ten (10) years, must be able to provide at least two (2) current references from previous engagements with other companies or government entities of similar size, scope, and type of service.
Desirable Experience:
  1. Within the last ten (10) years, at least three (3) or more months of experience testing one (1) or more *benefit systems (e.g., Unemployment Insurance or Disability Insurance). The benefit systems need to have had at least 1,000,000 end users.
  2. Within the last ten (10) years, at least four (4) or more years of experience developing, maintaining, and executing performance test automation scripts for Web- based applications.
  3. Within the last ten (10) years, at least two (2) or more years of experience with Micro Focus Performance Center or Load Runner Enterprise Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) test management tool.
