Responsibilities:

• Conduct general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, monthly expense accruals, and validated G/L accounts roll-up to financial statements
• Maintain and analyze cost accounting records, ensuring accurate valuation of inventory, cost of goods sold, and production variances
• Develop, maintain, and update cost standards, ensuring they accurately reflect material, labor, and overhead costs
• Oversee the cost control systems, manage and interpret cost audits, and prepare cost accounting reports for presentation to upper management
• Lead the yearly cost standards update process, collaborating with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely updates
• Monitor standard vs. actual costs, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights to improve cost efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• 2+ years cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong ERP experience
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)
