Must have sensory capabilities to avoid accidents as warehouse environment involves fast moving forklifts and power jack equipment.Pick orders within acceptable guidelines for errorsPlace orders on pallets with special consideration given to maximizing product care, taking into account wet vs. dry goods and proper stacking to ensure safe transport and delivery to customer.Load trucks as determined by delivery schedulePick short sheetsComplete necessary paperwork by recording amounts of items pickedMaintain warehouse and equipment in clean and orderly conditionOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Skills and ExperienceHigh school education or 6 months or more of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and extreme cold (non-weather).Frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather).Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.Regularly lift and/or moves up to 25 pounds; frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds; occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 75 pounds.Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.Ability to read/write/record data and perform simple mathematical calculations as well as simple correspondence in EnglishMust follow instructions, respond to management direction.Reliable; consistently at work and on time.Observes and follows proper safety procedures; willingness to report potentially unsafe conditions.Additional InformationSupplemental InformationThis employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.We do not provide H1-B sponsorships at this time.Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
