Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; first-time travelers are welcome License: License in hand required at submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS, RCES Must-Have: EPIC experience Job Description: - Flexible scheduling required with a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. - Completion of compliance by 12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date is necessary. - Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs. - Experience in arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table study required. - Cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies experience preferred. - Work in a multidisciplinary setting in a 9-room lab with very active labs performing ablations, implants, and LAA. - High-level team collaboration to achieve excellent patient outcomes. - Floating to different campuses as needed. - Education verification through a third party required; certain schools on the Florida Education Audit list not accepted. - No open cases in background check allowed. - COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required, with medical/religious exemptions only. - Non-billable modules, approximately 2-4 hours, completed during orientation.
