Job Description and Duties

This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in person at their designated approved HQ location at least two (2) days per week and as needed/required. Beginning July 1, 2025, all DGS employees will be required to work in office at their assigned HQ location four (4) days per week and as needed/required in alignment with Executive Order N-22-25.   The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) in the Facilities  Management Division (FMD), Training Unit, supports training employees by developing training plans,  coordinating the delivery of external training services, contributing to new course curriculum, delivering training,  and utilizing learning management system (LMS) software to plan, deliver, and track FMD training initiatives.

This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code.  The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests.  The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year.
