About This Job:

As Network Right's Business Development Representative, you will work closely with the CEO and BD team to generate a pipeline by prospecting outbound leads through thorough diligent research, creative outreach strategies, lead qualification, and effective opening conversations about our products and services.

What You'll Do:
  • Find, attend, and engage with people at networking events on a regular and consistent basis
  • Proactively research new potential target accounts, identify key players, generate interest and engage with potential customers.
  • Conduct outbound activities (including email campaigns, cold calls, and outreach via social media) to prospect, educate, and develop target accounts.
  • Comfortable making 50+ cold calls per day.
  • Identify, construct, and maintain an ongoing pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers at targeted sources, including C-Suite level stakeholders.
  • Perform discovery to deeply understand your target customers' business challenges and how to position Network Right as the solution.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on Network Right's suite of product offerings.
  • Leverage tools such as Apollo, Sales Navigator, HubSpot to build your book of business..
  • Build the blueprint for scaling the BDR function at Network Right.

About You:
  • 5+ years of experience working in sales, sales development, or business development - ideally in a fast-paced & dynamic startup environment.
  • Experience with lead generation and prospecting.
  • You love to network, connect with people both in person and digitally, and build lasting business relationships built on integrity and honesty.
  • You love walking into a room full of people you don't know.
  • You enjoy speaking to groups, leading meetings and giving presentations.
  • Not afraid to be scrappy and think outside of the box to find new clients.
  • Comfortable with visiting potential client sites in San Francisco.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • BA/BS degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • Experience working with multiple types of services (MSP/VAR/SaaS/B2B, etc.) preferred.
  • IT services/solutions sales experience and knowledge is a plus.
  • Customer-service oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curious, self-starter, collaborative, and adaptable in an ever-changing field.
