Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join the ESAS sales team. This role plays a vital function in maintaining customer relationships, converting assigned leads (especially house and reseller accounts), and supporting Sales Executives and Engineers across the sales cycle. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in customer service or sales, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and show eagerness to grow within a dynamic solar distribution environment while learning the ropes of technical B2B sales.

This is a full-time, office-based position located at our headquarters in Mesa, Arizona .

Responsibilities

· Serve as the main point of contact for House Accounts (typically <$500k/year value), which are often long-term, low-touch B2B clients.

· Convert assigned B2B leads (especially resellers and opportunistic buyers) into loyal, recurring customers through timely follow-up and quoting.

· Support Sales Executives and Engineers by assisting with quotes, lead qualification, CRM data entry, and customer communications.

· Utilize Odoo CRM to manage daily activities, update pipeline stages, and track customer interactions across sales funnel stages.

· Conduct basic product walkthroughs or demonstrations, showcasing ESAS’s value-added services such as logistics, 3R recycling, and professional services.

· Work closely with the Logistics and Accounting teams to ensure smooth order execution, following SOPs for Simple Sales.

· Attend and assist at industry trade shows and ESAS-sponsored events, qualifying booth leads and support outreach campaigns.

· Participate in weekly sales team meetings and 1-on-1 check-ins with the Sales Manager, coming prepared with CRM updates and pipeline insights.

· Stay up to date on ESAS product offerings by completing technical training and attending vendor webinars.

· Maintain consistent communication with customers, offering dependable support and timely responses.

 

Skills & Knowledge

  • 1–2 years of B2B experience in inside sales, sales support, or customer service, preferably in a technical or distribution environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills; able to build rapport with business clients and purchasing agents.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities, especially in a fast-moving B2B sales environment.
  • Comfortable learning CRM software (Odoo preferred) and internal workflows; able to follow SOPs and document activity clearly.
  • Basic understanding of solar PV products and/or eagerness to learn technical product knowledge quickly.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset — able to take ownership of assigned accounts and support team performance.
  • Bonus: Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or B2B trade shows
  • Ability to act as your customers’ "trusted advisor" to create service-based solutions to improve business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a virtual team environment.
