Unlike traditional speaking bureaus taking a 25% commission, we have built our own infrastructure to deliver extraordinary experiences for Fortune 500 companies, hospital systems, and global brands. Recent collaborations include TED, Ritz Carlton, and Salesforce.
The Opportunity
At a critical inflection point in our growth, evolving from $2M+ in revenue with ambitious expansion plans, we are seeking a high-performance sales professional to serve as both a true agent/brand representative and a strategic sales development leader.
Working directly with our team in Salt Lake City, you will help manage high-value relationships with C-suite executives, position our founder for elite-level keynote engagements, and build out the sales infrastructure that will define Dear World’s next growth phase.
This is not a standard sales role. You will prospect daily. You will make high-level calls. You will not wait for opportunities to come to you. If you are not comfortable proactively pursuing business and managing relationships at the highest level, do not apply.
Primary Responsibilities
Elite Client & Relationship Management:
- Serve as the trusted agent for our founder, positioning him for high-value speaking engagements
- Support Dear World’s relationships with CEOs, CHROs, and other senior executives
- Write and send emails directly from the founder’s inbox to key prospects and clients
- Execute concierge-level touchpoints (luxury gifts, handwritten notes, premium event invitations)
- Thoughtful digital communication daily
- Make 20–30 high-value outreach calls daily; this is a prospecting-heavy role
- Leverage our database of 600+ past clients worth millions
Strategic Sales Development:
- Build and refine sales systems, CRM processes, and lead management structures
- Develop sales enablement content and outreach strategies
- Qualify, nurture, and convert inbound leads from industry events and marketing campaigns
- Set up and prepare for high-stakes meetings and presentations
- Track and report on key sales metrics, revenue growth, and pipeline health
Proactive Market Intelligence & Sales Strategy
- Monitor Fortune 500 companies and key organizations for leadership changes, such as new CHROs or heads of L&D, to identify potential opportunities.
- Set up and manage Google Alerts to track executive transitions, mergers, acquisitions, and industry trends that impact leadership development and corporate training needs.
- Develop a strategic outreach plan based on real-time industry shifts, ensuring timely engagement with newly appointed executives.
- Build and maintain a relationship map of key decision-makers in leadership development, talent management, and HR across major organizations.
- Research and stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities to refine outreach strategies and position Dear World as the premier choice.
- Collaborate with internal teams to adapt sales messaging and positioning based on current market dynamics and corporate leadership shifts.
Luxury Brand & Event Presence:
- Represent Dear World at high-end industry events (e.g., ATD, SHRM, Fortune 500 summits, National Speakers Association)
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives looking for premium leadership experiences
- Work closely with marketing to maximize event impact and convert attendees into clients
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of sales development experience, B2B sales, or high-end client relationship management is a plus
- Sales experience is not required (If this is new to you, we will teach you how)
- Connection with speakers bureaus or any type of speaking engagement is a plus
- Proven ability to sell premium services and experiences (six-figure+ deals preferred)
- Background in industries requiring relationship-driven, high-touch sales, such as:
- News anchor, broadcast journalism, or media personality
- Political staffing or fundraising for high-level campaigns
- Junior talent agent (CAA, William Morris, or similar agencies)
- Luxury hospitality, five-star experiences, or high-end concierge services
- Corporate event planning with C-suite client interaction
Critical Success Factors
- Proactive sales hustle: If you are waiting for the phone to ring, this is not for you.
- Elite communication skills: Ability to sound like our founder in emails and on calls.
- Comfort in high-pressure rooms: Must be confident talking to Fortune 500 executives.
- Concierge-level attention to detail: You will handle VIP relationships and luxury touchpoints.
- Strategic thinking meets daily execution: Balancing long-term pipeline development with consistent outreach.
- Independence and ownership: We are looking for a builder, not just an executor.
- Adaptability in a fast-moving environment: Thrives in a dynamic role where strategy evolves based on live feedback and market conditions.
- Strong digital fluency: Comfortable using CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation for strategic prospecting and relationship management.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $60,000–$80,000 (commensurate with experience)
- OTE: $120,000+ with uncapped performance-based incentives
