Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the research and development sector, is seeking a R&D Microbiology Lab Technician to join their team. As a Micro Lab Tech, you will be part of the Incoming and Packaging Quality Control team supporting a dynamic group focused on quality assurance and research and development. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Research & Development Microbiology Lab Technician

Location: Ada, MI

Pay: $22/hr

What's the Job?

• Support raw material processing in the lab's lean cells.
• Manage supplier Certificate of Analysis (COA) issues, including discrepancies and missing test results.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve the accuracy of documentation.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to enhance specifications and testing limits.
• Ensure timely release of raw materials to support manufacturing and supply chain planning.

What's Needed?

• Associates or BS degree in chemistry, biology, life sciences, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and test methods.
• Experience conducting experiments as needed and directed by scientists.
• GMP chemistry laboratory experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
