JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for the opening of Adjunct Lecturers of Psychology for the semester starting Spring 2024 . The opening require teaching undergraduate research methods courses, introductory statistics, or courses in clinical, cognitive, developmental, industrial-organizational, or social psychology. Candidates should be available for both on-line and classroom teaching assignments.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous teaching experience and fit to the department's teaching needs are critical.
  • In addition, successful candidates must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.
  • Ph.D. preferred and at least ABD status required.

The initial contract period is one semester, with a good chance of continuing renewal depending on funding. Review of applications begins immediately and will continue until the vacancies are filled.
