WE’RE HIRING: MOTION DESIGNER

MAKE/ is looking for a highly creative and skilled Motion Designer to join our team!

WHAT YOU’LL DO: As a Motion Designer at MAKE/, you’ll play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our video projects. You will:

• Design and animate graphics for commercial, social, MAKE/, and original content.
• Craft visually stunning and engaging animations that align with each project's creative vision.
• Collaborate with directors, editors, and producers to develop innovative motion concepts.
• Bring ideas to life through compositing, typography, kinetic text, visual effects, and 2D/3D design and animation.
• Optimize workflows and maintain efficient project pipelines within Adobe After Effects and other design software.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in motion design to keep our work fresh and cutting-edge.
• Problem-solve creatively and adapt quickly to shifting project needs.
• Take ownership of projects and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality motion content.
  

WHO YOU ARE We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced – You have at least two years of experience in motion design, animation, or visual effects.
• Skilled in Adobe Suite – Particularly After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop (Premiere Pro knowledge is a plus).
• A Motion Graphics Pro – You understand design, animation principles, typography, and composition.
• A Team Player – You thrive in a collaborative environment, bouncing ideas off fellow creatives.
• Detail-Oriented & Organized – You can juggle multiple projects, hit deadlines, and maintain a clean workflow.
• A Self-Starter – You don’t wait for direction; you seek solutions and take initiative.
• A Storyteller at Heart – You love film, advertising, and visual storytelling.
• Tech-Savvy & Adaptive – You stay up to date on the latest motion design trends, plugins, and techniques.
• Experience with 3D software (C4D, Modo, or Maya) is a big plus.
