Camp Bow Wow® is the premier Doggy Day Care and Overnight Boarding facility that provides a fun, safe and upscale environment for dogs to play, romp and receive lots of love and attention. Our Marketing Coordinator (or “Scout”) holds a key role within our Camp, spreading the word about our brand and building our business. Our MARKETING CORDINATOR will be responsible for bringing new ideas about customer engagement and digital media while adding creative energy to our team. The candidate must be passionate about social media, marketing technology solutions and enjoy thinking out of the box! The ideal candidate is self-motivated and requires minimal supervision after given parameters in which to execute a plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research and implement marketing programs focused on existing client base to grow current client business and maximize referrals
  • Create and execute themed monthly enrichment plans
  • Creating content and brainstorming ideas for print, digital and “in-Camp” campaigns
  • Manage social media presence to drive brand awareness and increase sales, including: Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, text message marketing, and more
  • Scheduling digital content
  • Plan and manage marketing budget ensuring tactics align with marketing strategies and are within financial budgets
  • Plan and organize events at Camps for current and potential customers and special events for top clients
  • Responsible for the Camp website ensuring fresh content and communication of brand offerings
  • Track performance of marketing efforts, determine areas of improvement and execute on findings
  • Follow up with prospects and clients to ensure a high level of customer service from Camp Bow Wow

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE  Must be actively involved with social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter either personally or for business / non-profits  Have a passion for the world of social media marketing and digital marketing  Strong writing skills  Detail-oriented and organized  Positive attitude and a team player  Must be a people person, comfortable in a sales environment with a variety of potential customers in positive and difficult situations both on the phone and in person Excellent customer service skills, friendly and approachable, with the ability to manage time and task prioritization Able to work in a team environment, building and maintaining customer rapport and the flexibility to work weekends.

Loves dogs and other pets, regardless of breed or species, and able to communicate that love to others

Exceptional computer skills, including the Microsoft® Office suite

Associates degree or course work in Marketing or equivalent experience in a relationship-based marketing, social media management and/ and sales environment preferred

EXTRA CONSIDERATION GIVEN TO THOSE WITH EXPERIENCE IN  Facebook, Instagram, TiKToK, Twitter, Google Analytics, Canva, Scorpion, Rallio and other related social websites and platforms

Job Types: Internship, Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
