Job Overview:

As a  Landscape Maintenance Technician , you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of residential and commercial landscapes. Your duties will include weeding, pruning, trimming, planting, mulching, and general landscape care. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to ensure each project is completed to the highest standards. Job hours may vary depending on project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general landscape maintenance tasks, including trimming, edging, planting, and mulching.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, annuals, and other plantings.
• Apply fertilizer, pest control solutions, and deer repellent as needed.
• Operate and maintain landscape equipment, ensuring it is in good working order (hedge trimmers, skid steers, weed trimmers, etc.).
• Communicate with clients and report any issues or special needs on-site.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, including job site cleanliness and equipment care.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Education:  High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience:  Previous landscaping or maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
• Skills:  Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
