Requirements
• Valid Journeyman Electrician’s license.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills (affinity for numbers).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Have the patience to work under pressure.
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of KTN’s organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
Responsibilities
• Prioritize tasks based on importance
• Install, maintain, repair electrical systems and components, including bending conduit, wiring, lighting, and control systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues implementing effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes/regulations.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems.
• Create material lists for jobs and projects.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budgets.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service communicating effectively with clients.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
• Wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and follow/execute all safety procedures/rules as outlined in the KTN Safety Manual and OSHA Regulations.
• Possess a high standard of quality.
• Thorough knowledge of all procedures, instructions, and documents of the Katoen Natie Quality Manual relevant to the department and facility.
