Key Responsibilities:
• Install, test, and calibrate electrical equipment and systems (motors, pumps, VFDs, circuit breakers, transformers, metering, and transducers) at power plants and substations.
• Install, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electronic schematics.
• Use electrical tools, including digital multimeters and power supplies.
• Provide technical support during electrical outages, generator startups, and weather-related emergencies.
• Work at heights, including ladders, towers, and structures.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of electricity, electronics, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with NEC, NESC, NETA, and NFPA 70E standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Regular, reliable attendance is required.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the Installation, testing, and calibration of the electrical equipment and systems such as motors, pumps, VFDs, circuit breakers, transformers, metering, and transducers at power plants, substations, and other Easton Utilities locations.
