Job Title:  Hardscape Apprentice

Location:  Copper Creek - Residential & Commercial Properties

Job Type:  Full-Time / Full-Time Seasonal

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated Hardscape Apprentice to join our team and help us build top-tier outdoor living spaces.

Job Overview:

As a Hardscape Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training in all aspects of hardscape construction, including the installation of patios, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, and outdoor living features. This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in the landscape industry while gaining practical, real-world experience in hardscape design and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, water features, and outdoor kitchens.
  • Learn to operate and maintain various construction tools and equipment, including power tools, skid steers, mini excavators, and paver saws.
  • Assist with site preparation, including leveling, measuring, and ensuring proper installation of hardscape elements.
  • Assist with planting trees, plants, edging with rock or mulch, installing dirt, and setting up irrigation and lighting systems.
  • Follow instructions from senior technicians and contribute to efficient project completion.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work site, following all safety procedures and helping with cleanup at the end of each day.
  • Gain knowledge of hardscape materials, techniques, and industry standards.
  • Be punctual and dependable with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience: No prior experience required, but basic knowledge of construction tools and landscaping is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to follow directions. Basic understanding of outdoor construction or landscaping is helpful.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
