Job Summary:

The Valet Parking Attendant - 3rd Shift is responsible for providing professional and courteous valet parking services. They must ensure the safe and efficient parking and retrieval of vehicles, as well as maintain a clean and organized valet parking area.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greets and welcomes guests to the hotel and offers professional services.
• Accommodates guests by opening all doors and assists with luggage or other items.
• Direct traffic in the parking area as needed,
• Operates guests' vehicle safely.
• Keeps an organized record of tickets/keys assigned to each vehicle/guest.
• Ensures vehicles are parked safely and securely.
• Inspect and document vehicles upon arrival for existing damage.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous valet parking or customer service experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
