Faculty Psychiatrist Position at the World Trade Center Health Program, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The World Trade Center (WTC) Mental Health Program at the Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai is recruiting a full-time psychiatrist to join our team of dedicated professionals who treat 9/11 responders with psychiatric conditions associated with exposure to psychological trauma and environmental hazards at the WTC disaster site. Our strong interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers are committed to providing evidence-based care to police officers, construction and utilities workers, and others who participated in the 9/11 rescue, recovery, and restoration efforts. Position Description: Collaborate with colleagues as an integral part of a health system Benefit from the education, research, and clinical program of Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, one of the top ranked schools nationally Significant opportunities for career development Dedicated support staff Position Qualifications for Inpatient Psychiatrist: Board certified or board eligible Psychiatrist Possess NYS license to practice medicine At least one-year post-residency experience in inpatient/emergency psychiatry services preferred Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills required Outstanding teaching skills Must possess highly collaborative and proactive approach, and demonstrate commitment to high-quality, cost-effective health care A strong work ethic and desire to participate in and grow a team-oriented, performance-driven department Position Qualifications for Fellowship Program Director Addiction Psychiatrist: Completed fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry required Active New York State Medical License Qualifications for Clinical Instructor or higher level faculty appointment Collaborative, proactive, and dedicated work ethic Commitment to high-quality, cost-effective health care Desire to grow professionally within a team-oriented, performance-driven department Compensation range from 240K to 305K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits) Salary Disclosure Information: Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
