Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Estate Planning and Administration Attorney located in Durham, NC. The attorney will be responsible for providing guidance on probate administration, planning, and estate law matters, assisting families and individuals in navigating complex legal processes.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a licensed attorney in North Carolina with experience in Probate Administration and Planning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, thoroughness , and diligence. Key responsibilities include:

  • Direct, hands-on client and case interaction;
  • Managing client expectations via email, phone and in-person;
  • Prepare and draft, pleadings, legal documents and plans on behalf of clients;
  • Delegating tasks to staff and other attorneys, as necessary;
  • Ensure compliance with all legal standards, applicable laws, regulations and company policies across areas of organizational responsibility;
  • Maintaining accurate timekeeping and prompt billing practices.

Compensation

  • Compensation is commensurate with skill and experience and will include a base salary plus results-based incentives. Compensation range of $85,000-$125,000 base (based on experience) plus results-based incentives.
