Job Description

Vaco is working with an industry-leading manufacturing company that is looking for a Cost Accountant. This role will interact with the C-Suite and the Production Management team to help drive cost and efficiency projects and initiatives. We are looking for someone with a strong manufacturing cost accounting background and knowledge of both standard costing and job/project costing too.

Someone who will succeed in this role with have a strong background with variance analysis and the ability to discover and effectively explain the root cause of the variance. We also need someone with strong Excel skills and any experience building dashboards and reports with PowerBI would be a plus but not required. Any experience with ERP systems would be great and the ability to navigate software systems will be vital.
