Cost Accountant (40974)

Our client is an organization in the Green Bay area looking for a Cost Accountant . Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of related experience, high attention to detail and highly organized.

The Cost Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compile vendor and customer claims.
• Prepare, distribute and answer questions on pricing models.
• Review material variances and gross margin reporting.
• Assist in monthly closing process, prepare journal entries, analyze inventory and reconcile accounts.
• Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
• Provide financial analysis as requested.
• Support and assist internal department reporting as needed.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

The Cost Accountant will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field required
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Well organized and detail orientated.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
