Job Title : Sr Cost Accountant

Location : Corona, CA (On-site Position 5x weekly)

All-in Compensation : $85,000 - $110,000

We’re helping a growing manufacturing team bring on a Sr. Cost Accountant who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments. This role is perfect for someone who loves turning chaos into clarity, knows their way around cost structures, and can confidently partner with leadership to ensure margins and operations align.

You’ll be the go-to person for analyzing cost flows, improving reporting tools, and tracking how every dollar is spent and earned on the production floor. This isn’t a “heads-down-only” kind of role—you’ll collaborate across finance, purchasing, and operations, and be trusted to bring both detail and strategy to the table.

Responsibilities :

• Own the month-end process related to costs and inventory
• Track how materials and production dollars flow through the business
• Support leadership with clear reporting and budget insights
• Run internal checks and physical counts, making sure the numbers line up
• Spot inefficiencies or inconsistencies and recommend improvements
• Partner with purchasing and operations to stay ahead of market shifts and cost-saving opportunities
• Assist in ERP upgrades and reporting improvements
• Help ensure audit readiness and strong internal controls
• Report financial info in a way that helps non-accountants make smart decisions

Must-Have Skills :

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production-based setting
• 3+ years of cost accounting and analysis
• A strong grasp of how costs flow—from raw materials to final product
• Ability to reconcile, analyze, and explain cost variances
• Strong Excel skills
• ERP
• GAAP

Nice to Have Skills :

• Accounting Certification (CPA, CMA or similar)
