SUPERVISES

No supervisory responsibilities MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A high school diploma or equivalent • Possession or immediate eligibility for a Georgia Commercial Driver's License • And one of the following--either: Completion of a formal comprehensive course in automotive and truck repair and two years of full-time experience as a mechanic; or Two (2) years of experience as a mechanic with at least one (1) year of experience working full-time with commercial transportation vehicles other than passenger cars; or A minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience working as a school bus mechanic's apprentice. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ASE certification (S series) Two (2) years of experience in a bus maintenance setting Griffin-Spalding County School System
