Job Summary: Drive a truck, primarily to deliver or pick up office equipment and supplies within a specified area.
Essential Functions:

• Load and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
• Install office equipment at customer location
• Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
• Present bills and receipts, and collect payments for products delivered or loaded
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles

• Assist warehouse personnel with stocking supplies, wrapping machines and cleaning warehouse
• Attach accessories to the office equipment (finishers, cabinets, etc.)

• Knowledge of principles and methods for transporting valued products by road
• Strong navigation skills: familiarity with the Baltimore-Washington region preferred/tri-metro area which would include Virginia and Pennsylvania
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong oral communication skills
• Professional and courteous demeanor
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and handling of materials. Lifting requirement-up to to 75-100 lbs – team lift up to 300 lbs

• High school diploma
• 2-3 years of delivery driving experience
• Clean driving and background record
• Track record that demonstrates success and work stability

• Valid C Class driver’s license
• Must have DOT Card prior to employment
