We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Accounting & Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. This key role will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and payroll functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions.

Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing: Process bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll for all employees, including hourly, salaried, and commissioned employees. Calculate and process all payroll taxes, including federal, state, and local taxes. Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, timecards, and benefit information. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and other voluntary benefits. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits. Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare and file all required government reports, including W-2s, 1099s, and unemployment claims. Assist with year-end payroll tax filings.

Accounting Functions:
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and manage vendor relationships.
General Ledger: Prepare journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and assist with month-end/year-end closing procedures.
Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with all applicable accounting principles.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Associate's Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in payroll processing and general accounting.
Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Gusto) is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
