Job Description
Requires a Bachelor degree in Business or Communication. 3-5 years of experience. Strong customer service acumen. Organization and time management skills. Familiar with cars and subcomponent systems.
Description:
- Works with engineers to coordinate testing activities.
- Orders parts and ensures correct and timely vehicle and sled builds, schedules and coordinates vehicle/test sign-off meetings, maintains vehicle and parts inventory, coordinates vehicle and part logistics, may travel to Proving Grounds as required.
- Successfully manage and document the arrival and disposition of all fleet vehicles.
- Receive engineering test and development vehicles from various build locations and synchronize with usage plans to ensure delivery to proper custodian and verify disposal date.
- Work with extended teams to establish and achieve a quarterly fleet target. Follow established process for managing Fleet Inventory.
- Work with departmental porters, in-house shops, and outside repair facilities to maintain vehicles in safe and functional condition.
- Work with engineers to coordinate vehicles for testing, applying professional judgment on priority and validity of requests.
- Maintain accurate vehicle tracking/usage records per Corporate Audit and inventory reconciliation requirements.
- ,Identify underutilized vehicles for sharing opportunities or disposal.
