Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provides administrative assistance to Payroll and HR
· Data entry into Payroll and People HR systems
* Payroll liabilities and tax management
· Ensure proper collection of new hire paperwork
· Work closely with Payroll on processing, data entry, ID creation, and special projects
· Provides backup for Payroll during vacations
· Updates payroll records, banking, address change, insurance deductions, job title, salary changes, etc.
· Entry into PeopleHR, new hires, terminations, updates
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· 1-3 years’ experience in an office environment
· Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
· Problem solving
· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
· Works well in a team environment
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
· Confidentiality
· Basic accounting knowledge
· Deadline driven
· Attention to detail
· Paychex & ADP a plus!
