1st Shift: Order Picker- WEEKLY PAY Pay: $22-24/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shift Order Picker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking ingredients, executing system transactions, organizing inventory, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring accurate labeling of products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety guidelines, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick the majority of ingredients needed for production according to the production schedule or as communicated by the production lead/supervisor.
• Execute system transactions to assign ingredients picked to Production Orders, enabling full traceability of raw materials and/or packaging as well as accurate inventory levels in the system.
• Organize and continuously reconcile ingredients and packaging inventory for accurate inventories on the computer system by product code.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization.
• Ensure all micro ingredients are well labeled and organized, and storage locations are accurate in the system making them easy to locate.
• Interpret special instructions on pick lists and follow all required PPE requirements while handling raw materials.
• Pull production orders from the system and verify all the correct ingredients are selected from inventory to fill the order.

• Forklift operation (stand-up and sit-down forklifts)

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs throughout the day
• Basic mathematical and proofreading skills
• Ability to relate math and reading information to product label information
• Computer and accurate data entry skills

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
